Rihanna `Nude` Pics Heat Up Net Search


CaribWorldNews, NEW YORK, NY, Mon. May 18, 2009: Searches for Rihanna on the Internet have been apparently boosted by reports of nude photos, latest Google data show.

The search engine reports searches for Rihanna was up 600 percent last week, following reports of alleged nude photographs of the singer. According to Google, Rihanna searches jumped again some 90 percent Monday, May 11 and have since declined.

Nielsen/Blog Buzz, reported also that blogs referencing Rihanna surged some 133 percent between Friday, May 8 and Saturday, May 9th, a day after the alleged nude pics were posted on Imageheaven.

Several alleged photographs of the singer in a hotel room bathroom surfaced Friday, May 8.

After the release of the photos Rihanna’s team sent letters to have the photographs removed from blogs and other internet sources. The letters were then followed by Brown’s team dismissing reports that he was involved in the leak of the photos during the same weekend.
