Trump Proposes Reversing Obama Era Decision Of Native Mountain Name

President Donald Trump discussed renaming the largest mountain in the United States, reversing a decision made by the Obama administration, CNN reported Tuesday. Trump brought up the topic during a meeting with two of Alaska’s Republican senators, Lisa Murkowski and Dan Sullivan. In 2015, former President Barack Obama had announced Mt. McKinley, which held the title for the country’s largest mountain, would be renamed Denali, as a nod to the Alaskan native population, said the report.
