St. Lucians Nabbed For Coke Trafficking

CaribWorldNews, LONDON, England, Weds. June 3, 2009: A thirty-two-year-old St. Lucian woman has been charged with trying to smuggle two pounds of cocaine into Britain by hiding it under her wig. While a St. Lucian man has been found with four pounds of the drug. 

Chermisa Lisa Daniel was stopped by border patrol officials at Gatwick Airport Sunday, after arriving on a flight from St Lucia via Antigua.

UK border patrol officials estimate the cocaine was valued at about US$66,000.

Mack Andrew Hamilton Graham, was also busted with cocaine over the weekend. He was stopped by Gatwick officers on Saturday, after arriving on a flight from Barbados. Graham was found to have four pounds of cocaine worth $132,000 in his luggage.
