Pilots Association Says Thousands Of American Airlines Flights Still Have No Pilots

American Airlines announced its pilots are working to resolve a scheduling issue accidentally leaving upcoming flights without cockpit crews during the holiday season — however, the Allied Pilots Association (APA) do not believe this is accurate, according to Fox News. The APA initially said on Tuesday thousands of American Airline flights in the latter half of December did not have pilots to fly them because of a “failure within the pilot schedule bidding system” allowing too many pilots to receive vacation time in the same time frame, the report said.
