News Americas, NEW YORK, NY, Fri. Dec. 21, 2018: The economies of the Caribbean and Latin America are forecast to see a decline come 2019.
That’s according to the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) which said Thursday that the Caribbean and Latin America will now likely grow just 1.7 percent in 2019. That’s a dip from the previous estimate of 1.8 percent. The region’s economy also grew by 1.2 percent this year, also trimmed from the 1.3 percent predicted in October. Continue Reading
