The first woman to wear a hijab as part of a mainstream advertisement for hair care products has pulled out of a L’Oreal campaign, BBC News reported Monday. In a post on Instagram, UK beauty blogger Amena Khan says she is stepping down from the campaign “because of the current conversations surrounding it,” the report said.
