Former Chinese Internet Regulator Under Investigation For Corruption

The ruling Communist Party announced that China’s former head of internet regulator, Lu Wei, is under investigation for suspected corruption, Reuters reported Tuesday. Wei has been the latest of senior officials caught in the recent campaign against graft. The Central Commission for Discipline Inspection issued a brief statement saying Wei was suspected of serious disciplinary breaches and had used a common euphemism for graft, the report said.
