Florida Is So Freezing Cold Due To The Bomb Cyclone, It’s Raining Green Iguanas

The unusually cold weather covering Florida has the additional surprise of iguanas falling from their perches in suburban trees to the chilly ground below as temperatures fell below 40 degrees (4.4 C) on Thursday, according to CBS News. The National Weather Service in Miami said that it was cold enough that the green iguanas usually common in the region were immobilized by the temperatures. Palm Beach Post columnist Frank Cerabino first tweeted a picture of an iguana that was lying on its back next to his swimming pool, concerned that it had died.
