CaribWorldNews, BROOKLYN, NY, Tues. June 2, 2009: For over 25 years, Josephine Jackson has worked for large retail companies and fashion designers as an interior designer. But with the current U.S. jobless rate growing, Jackson is turning her long-time passion for cooking into a back-up plan.
Jackson recently launched Josephina’s Bakery to ensure that she has a back-up plan in place should she receive a pink slip.
Using the recipes of her Great-Aunt Sang, whose cakes and pies were made from scratch using organic farm products and ingredients and baked in a wood burning stove, Jackson launched Josephina’s Bakery.
Her long time passion for cooking and designing has now combined to catapult her career from interior designer to cake designer.Josephina’s Bakery, cakes for the soul can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling 347-203-2026.
